What are the HeadBands used for?
Each headband is made out of stretchy knit fabric with buttons attached to each side. The buttons are placed in a way that allows PPE to hang from the button rather than the individual’s ear in order to alleviate any ear pain or discomfort.
Where can I put in a request for HeadBands?
Are the HeadBands for sale? How much?
We are sending these out free of cost to all healthcare providers and other essential workers during the COVID-19 crisis. However, if you would like to donate to our cause so that we may continue to make headbands for future batches, please visit our homepage for more information.
Where can I donate? Is my donation tax deductible?
We are so happy to have Opencollective as our fiscal host (Open Collective Foundation), which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. More details on donating with Opencollective here. It will require you to make an account, but this is the method that allows for tax deduction if you need it.

How can I help out?
We are now taking volunteers for sewing and administrative positions. Volunteers will be contacted on a rolling basis depending on the amount of fabric we have available. If you would like to learn more about our volunteer opportunities, click here.
How do I clean my HeadBand?
All of our HeadBands are made of stretchy knit fabric that allows for them to be hand-washed or thrown into the machine regularly.
My button is loose, how can I fix it?
If I have already put in a request before, can I request more?
We are currently prioritizing orders for healthcare providers. We want to be able to reach as many individuals as possible, so please reach out to us for bulk orders. Thank you for understanding.
How long will it take to receive my order?
After we ship out the orders, we will provide tracking information. The HeadBand Project is not responsible for damaged or lost products following shipping or delivery. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
UPS Ground and FedEx Ground deliveries do not require a signature at the time of delivery and will be left at the location if no one is present.
Please keep in mind that it may take days or weeks for your order to get to you as we operate completely donation based with the help of our volunteer sewing team, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
